In 1996, Lisa was presented the Earth Trustee Certificate by John McConnell, co-founder of The Earth Society Foundation, for her One Heart poster.
Just as the 19th century's works titled "The Peaceable Kingdom," depicted the lion lying down with the lamb, Lisa's work embraces all of humanity. It encompasses people of all ages, the abundant diversity of animal life, nature in its fecundity, and the infinite depths of our universe in a setting devoid of strife, pain, separation, and disillusionment.
The universal themes of joy, abandon, connection, innocence, compassion, and intrinsic heart are found throughout Lisa's work. We can literally travel the world and once again see life through the eyes of a child, bringing us full circle to our original state of wonder and openness of heart with which we were all born.
The cosmic element of universal consciousness is present at all times helping us to see worlds within worlds and endless possibilities and potentials. Concurrently, we are able to find a parallel within our own being as we imagine and create and express from within our own hearts and minds.
